Hello and welcome to Wise Child!

 

My name is Madie Dean, I am an Astrologer, Tarot Reader, Reiki Practitioner and a certified Death Doula based in Toronto.

 

The vision for Wise Child was birthed out of a desire to share knowledge and create a space where accessible spiritual healing methods can be easily obtained. The path towards my interest and investment in these modalities came after discovering a medical condition I had experienced in my teenage years, which was my body’s response to suppressing trauma that I had experienced in my early childhood. This trauma was not in my conscious awareness at all until I started to have troubling dreams. In these dreams, I was lead by what seemed like a gravitational pull into rooms in my childhood home to view my trauma happening in front of me. That is when all the pieces came together. I immediately leaped to researching the subject, reading books by doctors and psychologists and started up traditional talk therapy. While I became very informed, I did not find comfort or healing in these methods that I had thought to be proactive and “the right” direction to take. Through chance or divine intervention I was thrusted into more spiritually based spaces and began viewing the treatment of my trauma in a radically different way than I had prior. Through Tarot, Astrology, Crystal Healing, Meditation and Reiki I began to find a new perspective that soothed my mental, emotional, physical and spiritual pain and showed me the purpose of my experiences. My hope is to pass this gift on, to help facilitate conversations others can have with themselves and to share tools I am eternally grateful for. 

 

The prices listed were chosen in an attempt to be accessible while also granting myself the ability to make time to do this work.
